happy holidays everyone.

i need your help.

i am just plain and simple really bad at naming things i want off the top of my head. my mom is starting her christmas shopping and is wondering what i would want for my christmas gifts. so she is making me write a list. i nomally get one big present(like last year i got a camera) and 3 or 4 smaller presesnts. but this year i already know what i want as my BIG gift.( a cellular phone) but i dont really know what i want for my smaller gifts.

I am 14 years old and a girl. i am NOT preppy. so like i dont want any pretty store clothing. but like are there any ideas. i kinda have a un named style. like skinny jeans and flats and just shirts that arent pink and girly looking. but im not a tom boy. i also like makeup and other things like that. so just PLEASE give me a list of things that i would ask for christmas.

I need gift ideas for my family of six. I don't have a job; therefore, the budget is pretty low. I would love to do the homeade gift idea, if i can find anything really cool that doesn't require a ton of skill.

I have:

A auto-mechanicy dad- not into coffee!

An artist mom, who isn't into coffee

A brother turning 20...so birthday gifts AND christmas gifts for him... his birthday is Dec. 23

A 14 year old sister who isn't into makeup... she'll do the occasional hair thing..

An 11 year old brother who loves his video games

I would like to add that I have made them too many coupon books to count and the one from seven years ago still hangs on the bulletin board in our kitchen.... Great idea, but they rarely put it into practice. Maybe if I promised to fill the tank with gas on a couple, they'd love that! lol

One dollar makeup!?

I was reading Cosmo earlier, and they had a little blurp about E.L.F cosmetics... they're only a dollar??

I went to their website to check them out but they don't seem like they are a company that's at all out of the ordinary.

Are these products any good? Are they long lasting? Do they cause breakouts? I have had experience with cheap products before and been quite pleased with the fact that they were usuable despite being only a dollar, however I am a little wary of trying them out.

Also, if you recieved something like this as a gift, what would your response be? I was thinking of purchasing some of the products for my 12-year-old sister who is just beginning to discover makeup, and possibly as stocking stuffers for friends in addition to other gifts.
